Yes, that's me back in the mid 70's with a few less pounds and a lot more hair.
I include this picture for a little entertainment and to lend credibility to my claim of experience. I have seen the Good, the bad and the ugly with GM. From the clunky and unreliable Vega, to the Cadillac Cimarron which was little more than a Chevy Caviler with leather seats to the Buick Lucerne, with sophistication and luxury to beat the best that Germany or Japan has to offer.
The recommendations and explanations described under the "Why it's Important" links here are my opinions. They have come from 38 years at a GM dealer and seeing all kinds of mechanical failures. All too often the failures are ones that "Preventative Maintenance" could have prevented.
